Skating

switching of skate dates - please try not to switch as there can be a problem with capacity
Pick-up 12:45 - classes will be shuttled
Returning shuttles @ 2:15
Helmets - must be approved - skiing, hockey, skating - no bike helmets
Younger siblings - not to come to skating as it's your students' time with their parent(s)
Hot Lunch - hopefully we can get it earlier for those skating-Cait will look into this and let us know.

in the future - a suggestion to not to have the gymnastics mats set up during Christmas concert practice time or the gymnastic time could be extended.

Busses
Transportation has been made aware that the busses are arriving late each day.
Recycling
Funds pay for recylcing fees, supplies and student project/activities.
If you have an idea for the use of the recycling funds, please let Brenda S or Gail F know.
Lanyards
Heather O is looking into getting new lanyards.
At this point, all staff are directed to not wear the standard lanyard around their neck and to remind parent volunteers to also not wear them but to carry them .
Kinette Hampers
It's been observed that the system has changed this year so that we can't be sure of equal distribution for every family.
This information will be used to help us plan for next year's donations.
Access to Water for Cleaning
For those in the portables - you may wash out brushes in the kitchen (not during Hot Lunch times) but please make sure that you leave the kitchen spotless.
Music
Choral Celebration Choir - is open to grades 2, 3 & 4 at this point - more information will be coming from Kathryn
Feedback on Christmas Concert -very positive, many were impressed by quality of performances
Concerts were beautiful
Issues with ticket numbers for parents wanting siblings to attend
Asking for a grade representative to have a meeting with Kathryn to discuss - stop, start and continue for concert ideas for next year.
